Beyond caring for his patients, Michael finds joy in giving back to the community. He has treated patients at the Veterans Affairs Hospital, at NYU Langone Brooklyn, and at Housing Works in Brooklyn. He volunteers annually at a clinic in Guatemala, and monthly at a clinic in the Bronx supporting people recovering from addiction.
In his spare time, Michael practices Qi Gong and swims. He lived in Argentina for 10 years and is fluent in Spanish – and grilling on the barbecue, Argentine-style!
